My Approach

Creating a sense of emotional safety is a high priority for me as a therapist. I have a relational approach, and I use a lot of education in sessions to help you understand the why behind how you might have gotten to where you are and pair that with collaborative problem solving so that you feel empowered with action steps on how to move forward and make healthy changes. Because optimal mental health is not isolated from overall wellness, I take a holistic approach to understanding each client and their needs. Clinical Experience and Formal Education

I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho in 2017. After taking a few years off to travel, I returned to school and earned my Master of Social Work with an emphasis on Clinical Treatment from Walden University in 2023. I have worked in a community mental health setting, an intensive outpatient treatment center for individuals with substance use disorder, and in a clinicial practice setting working with individuals who experience ADHD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
